Movenpick Resort & Spa Maldives is fully preparing for the holiday season and has already unveiled its new New Year and Christmas programs. Let's share the details. But first, a few words about the resort.
The hotel has a large spa complex where you can restore your balance, have cosmetic procedures and massages, and practice yoga: there are rooms in the middle of the jungle and there are overwater rooms.
Also, not far from the resort are the Christmas Tree Rock and Orimas Thila dive sites - a nice addition to the holiday for certified divers.

There is a Japanese restaurant with a panoramic view of the ocean: they serve seafood dishes, sushi, rolls, and wine. Wine tastings are held in the wine lounge, they offer signature ice cream and chocolate, and at the pool bar, they prepare refreshing cocktails from the menu or upon your request.
NEW YEAR PROGRAM 2023
The holiday season at Movenpick is inspired by the five elements - Earth, Fire, Water, Air, and Cosmos. They found a new form in shows, exclusive gastronomic sets, and Latin American music.
In the evenings, there are festive dinners at the Onu Marché restaurant, followed by a party with hookahs, signature cocktails, and a DJ set by Santa.

Beef Stroganoff, fish soup, Iberico prosciutto, Catalan paella, Singaporean chili crab, Japanese ramen, Indian lamb biryani, and American barbecue - gastronomic delights from the chef bring a piece of one country to another and from one culture to another. And the highlight of the evening is the fire show and dance program.
At the Cosmic Party, there are interplanetary decorations and a cocktail menu inspired by the Milky Way, at the gala dinner - seasonal oysters, Maldivian lobster, premium caviar and foie gras, and at midnight - fireworks and champagne.
New Year: Mediterranean night, exotic jungles, and Middle Eastern romance.
On the first of January, there is a New Year's breakfast with signature dishes. The menu includes sour cabbage soup, pastries, and steaks. There is also pizza and grilled seafood with salsa performance.
The wild jungle offers tiger prawns, baked snails with garlic and herbs, ostrich meat, and a signature gin-based cocktail at the Gaia party. From the Middle East, there are scents of nutmeg, cumin, and saffron, Persian-style shrimp, and hookahs.
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM 2023
Christmas tree, One Thousand and One Nights, Santa's visit, and Orthodox Christmas: while children unwrap gifts, adults drink mulled wine and sample roasted chicken. It is baked for twelve hours, infused with juicy Arab herbs and aromatic spices.

An atmospheric sunset, tranquil ocean, and a special menu featuring Eastern European cuisine: borscht, Milanese ossobuco, charcoal-grilled meat, and for dessert, an alternative to hookah - a signature steam cocktail.
For the whole family: family yoga on the beach, kite festival, and a sandcastle competition. For children: face painting, meeting with Santa Claus, coconut art, Christmas tree bowling, kite making masterclass, sand snowman, marine biologist sessions, and even a blogger contest - children will explore the island and make their own videos.

Currently, the Overwater Lagoon Villa With Pool costs $6,100 per person. The program includes double accommodation, transfer from the airport to the hotel by seaplane, and New Year's Eve celebration.
