The travel and tourism industry is buzzing in Cape Town this week, and it is due to the comeback of the WTM Africa show.
World Trade Market (WTM for short) is a future-focused series of global travel and tourism events that help industry professionals across the world connect and build relationships. WTM Africa is the WTM event tailored to the African region and has grown to become the country’s leading B2B travel and tourism event since it first launched in 2014. The show has had a post-COVID glow up and WTM Africa 2023 is slated to show numbers bigger than they were prior to the pandemic, with over 100 countries being represented and a whopping 6,549 pre-scheduled meetings. The show is also hosting 180 speakers from a diverse set of disciplines and showcasing 78 content sessions.
