After getting an extensive overhaul that lasted a period of two years, the Dream Catcher II has now reentered the Indian Ocean.
The Dream Catcher II is an affordably priced safari yacht in the Maldives that features comfortable accommodation, making it one of the best options to visit the best dive sites of the central atolls.
The yacht has seven cabins that can accommodate up to 17 passengers. These include four luxury suites, two panoramic suites, and one gorgeous mega suite. All the cabins are air-conditioned and come equipped with their own personal bathroom and toilet.
After the major renovation they did to the bow of the yacht, we are now greeted with a spacious lounge area with partial shading and comfortable lounge chairs. There is no place better to sip a refreshing mojito and see the sunsets in the evenings. If you are a morning person, this area is great for a warm cup of coffee as well.
The dive deck and outdoor restaurant also show some improvements after the overhaul. The common areas now have new sofas with lamps, making it a great spot to read a book or lounge. Most of the wooden surfaces also got a new paint job, including the surfaces of the tables, the floor, and the hull of the yacht.
You can catch the new and updated Dream Catcher II yacht this autumn from the 30th of October to the 6th of November. The yacht will be sailing down the Best of Central Atolls route.
On this route, you will see the fishing island of Guraidhoo, which is known for its green turtles and sharks. After which you will pass to the west of the South Ari Atoll, which usually greets us with a large group of dolphins. Then it’s on to the Bathala island of Ari Atoll, where there are coral reefs with the most majestic eagle rays. Finally, the route reaches its conclusion at Rasdhoo Atoll, where guests can get the chance to dive with hammerhead sharks!
